When your brain gets stuck in a pattern, willpower alone often can't break the loop. Racing thoughts at bedtime. Brain fog at work. Feeling on edge for no particular reason. IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback (MCN for short) is a gentle, drug-free technology that helps the brain reset its own patterns, a bit like restarting a computer when a program freezes.
Here's how it works. Small sensors on the scalp deliver an extremely faint electromagnetic signal, a tiny fraction of what a AA battery puts out. Unlike older styles of neurofeedback that take dozens of training sessions, MCN is passive. You don't have to practice or concentrate on anything. You just sit back for about 30 minutes and let your brain do the rest.
Clients come in for help with sleep, focus, anxious feelings, low mood, irritability, and recovery after concussions (alongside their medical care). Many tell me they feel lighter or clearer within the first few sessions, and the changes keep building from there.
Every session is administered by me, Lakel Permann, RN. I've spent over 20 years in healthcare, and I take a whole-person approach. MCN pairs beautifully with NAET and Emotion Code work, and I'm happy to help you sort out what combination makes sense for you.
My office is in Eagle, an easy drive from anywhere in Boise, Meridian, or Star. Call 208-318-6209 to book a session. MCN is a wellness service and complements the care you receive from your physician. It never replaces it.
